Literature Text
I think I need an intervention
Or less distraction
and more change
Shake this foundation up a bit
Let the pieces fall
where they may
Perhaps then I can rebuild
Reform
Reshape
Making a better life for myself
My family
And those I claim
To aim for the skies
Seize the night
The day will stand no chance
To reach for limits
To claim what's mine
To redefine this life
To accept nothing less
Than a comfortable success
With harmony that rhymes
So maybe I
can turn the tides
on such an uncomfortable life.

into the hollow
between my shoulder blades.

Power hungry

No care in the world for others
Murder has never been so longed for
Heart pounding, jaw popping
Teeth tearing, eyes ravenous
The color is leaving the earth
Layered over by the blood of the kill

You wanted me to come out
You needed to see what it was like to have power
To be able to push back, when you’re stepped on
It feels good,
